Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) to annotate and review outpatient medical records, ensuring accurate ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS coding.

You will apply outpatient E&M leveling, follow coding conventions, and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve ambiguities, and improve workflow with clear documentation and consistent coding practices.

Qualifications

• Active CPC certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding systems for outpatient settings.
• Hands-on experience coding in outpatient environments.
• Experience with diverse clinical documentation types and coding challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
