This is a remote position in the United States.
Job Summary:
The role involves coordinating provider coding and compliance activities within Concentra Health Services, focusing on revenue optimization, level of service coding, and diagnosis coding.
Responsibilities:
- Support, educate, and train providers and coders on revenue optimization, documentation quality, and coding standards.
- Conduct compliance audits according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with Medical Leadership to develop and support training initiatives.
- Organize periodic training sessions based on audit findings and trends.
- Stay updated on coding and workers’ compensation regulation changes.
- Provide coding support to CBO as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) required.
- Minimum five years of healthcare billing, coding, and auditing experience, including provider training.
Skills and Competencies:
- Auditing expertise.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Strong process management skills.
- Knowledge of state-specific workers’ compensation regulations.
- Effective training and presentation skills.
