Coding and Compliance Specialist - Remote

This is a remote position in the United States.

Job Summary:

The role involves coordinating provider coding and compliance activities within Concentra Health Services, focusing on revenue optimization, level of service coding, and diagnosis coding.

Responsibilities:

• Support, educate, and train providers and coders on revenue optimization, documentation quality, and coding standards.
• Conduct compliance audits according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with Medical Leadership to develop and support training initiatives.
• Organize periodic training sessions based on audit findings and trends.
• Stay updated on coding and workers’ compensation regulation changes.
• Provide coding support to CBO as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist-Physician-based (CCS-P) required.
• Minimum five years of healthcare billing, coding, and auditing experience, including provider training.

Skills and Competencies:
