Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company seeks a Label & Specification Specialist to manage product specifications and label design in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with FDA/USDA and customer requirements.

You will design labels using Codesoft, align R&D, FSQA, Operations, and Account Management, and maintain document control; collaborate across sites to harmonize specs and support audits. 3–5 years in document control or labeling is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in document control, specification management, or labeling within a food and beverage environment.
• Working knowledge of labeling regulations and food safety standards.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage global product specification data for food and beverage products, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Coordinate harmonization of specification formats across sites to support consistent quality and regulatory adherence.
• Establish and maintain document control procedures aligned with food safety standards.
• Design and produce food-grade labels using Codesoft and ensure compliance with FDA/USDA and regulations.
• Collaborate with FSQA, R&D, Operations, and Accounts to reflect formulations and meet labeling requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to translate customer labeling needs into manufacturable designs.
• Develop and monitor project plans for launches, updates, and label changes, tracking risks and delivery timelines.
