Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center, part of Providence, seeks a Clinic Coder, Certified – Level II under general supervision to analyze, code, and compile medical records across Family Practice, Specialty Practice, Hospital and ASC settings. You will audit Provider documentation and deliver constructive feedback to providers to improve accuracy and compliance.

The role supports patient-focused, team-centered care in a culture of respect and accountability.

Qualifications

• Certification from AAPC or AHIMA upon hire.
• 3 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, codes and compiles medical records to document patient condition and treatment across Family Practice, Specialty Practice, Hospital and ASC settings.
• Audits provider documentation and provides continuous, meaningful provider feedback.

Required Qualifications:

• Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders upon hire or,
• Certification from American Health Information Management Association upon hire.
• 3 years- Related experience and/or training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years- Recent, related experience.
