Job summary

Cimarron in Newcastle, OK is seeking a Code Welder with expertise in Mig and Stick welding to join our fabrication team. The role requires reading blueprints, performing 3G and 6G welds, and complying with ASME codes while using arc and gas welding equipment.

A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available, and candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility. Responsibilities include setting up and operating welding equipment, reading plans, adhering to safety policies, and supporting Lean/Continuous

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, equivalent, or two years related work experience.
• Must pass a 3G plate test and 6G pipe weld test.
• Read and follow blue prints; work from plans or diagrams.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support a zero-accidents safety philosophy and maintain tools/equipment.
• Pass ASME Vessel Code weld test and perform 3G/6G welding tasks.
• Fit and weld pressurized vessel/pipe per drawings and specs.
• Operate power tools, read plans, and follow safety procedures.
