Job summary

Cimarron is seeking a skilled welder to lay out, assemble, and weld metal parts and equipment according to blueprints and specifications.

The role requires experience with MIG and Stick welding, ability to read plans, and passing 3G and 6G tests. You will operate power tools and overhead cranes while maintaining a safe, clean work environment and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Must pass ASME 3G plate test and 6G pipe weld test.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and diagrams.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of welding equipment (MIG, Stick) per ASME specs.
• Fit and weld components to required tolerances.
• Read plans and blueprints to determine welds and assembly.
• Support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain a safe work environment.
