Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a weld technician to read blueprints, set up equipment, and perform welded fabrication. You will inspect welds for quality and assist in troubleshooting to maintain production flow.

Qualifications

• Basic welding processes and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of welding codes, standards, and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to plan welding operations.
• Set up welding equipment to produce fabricated components.
• Prepare materials by cleaning and fitting components for welding.
• Inspect welds visually and with testing methods for quality.
• Troubleshoot and repair welds as needed.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good condition.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Operate welding robots, saws, and grinders as required.
