Job summary

CMC, an Associa company, is seeking a Code / Covenants Inspector to support Laurel, MD communities. The role involves traveling to HOA sites to inspect properties for violations related to maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance, with mileage reimbursement provided.

The Inspector will document findings, report to management and boards, and follow up to ensure violations are corrected, while leveraging own vehicle for travel and ensuring high standards of community upkeep.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and forms.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance requirements (documentation, safety, reporting, regulations).
  • Knowledge of conflict resolution techniques at a proficient level.
  • Professional communication skills (phone, interpersonal, written, verbal).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
  • Time management, prioritization, and attention to detail.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to community sites to conduct walk-throughs and site inspections.
  • Ensure HOA Rules and Regulations are followed and maintenance is being done properly.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations to determine validity.
  • Schedule and perform property maintenance inspections to maintain standards.
  • Document findings, submit reports to GM and Board of Directors, follow-up to ensure issues are corrected.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Job description

CMC, an Associa company, is hiring a a Code / Covenants Inspector for its community in Laurel, MD.

The Code / Covenants Inspector plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for HOA violations pertaining to maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings. The Covenants Inspector will use their own vehicle; however, mileage will be reimbursed.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Travel to community sites to conduct walk throughs and site inspections.
  • Ensure HOA Rules and Regulations are followed, and maintenance is being done property.
  • Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints.
  • Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
  • Take notes, document findings, submit reports to GM and Board of Directors, follow-up to ensure violations and maintenance concerns are corrected.
  • Other duties as assigned.
