The City of North Richland Hills is seeking a Code Compliance Officer to ensure enforcement of city codes and ordinances. This role involves field inspections, documenting violations, issuing notices and citations, and maintaining case records to support community standards.
You will work with residents and businesses, respond to inquiries, and contribute to public education initiatives while coordinating with the Neighborhood Services Department.
The purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with City codes and ordinances and to coordinate the abatement of violations. The position is responsible for conducting field inspections, identifying and documenting violations, issuing notices and citations, responding to public inquiries, and maintaining accurate case records. The Code Compliance Officer supports the Neighborhood Services Department through interdepartmental collaboration, communication with residents and businesses, and public education regarding City codes and community standards.
