Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans for compliance with adopted building codes and city standards.
• Reviews plans/permit submittals for residential and commercial developments.
• Meets with staff, developers, engineers, and contractors to discuss design standards.
• Provides technical assistance on code interpretation and city regulations.
• Supports field inspectors as needed.
