Job summary

ECS Group is seeking a Code Compliance Project Manager for the Mid-Atlantic Building Science + Infrastructure team in Frederick, MD. The role leads inspection and plan review projects, mentors inspectors, and supports client relationships while ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.

Qualified candidates will have a Maryland Master Electrician license (or ability to obtain within 6 months), 5+ years in code inspection or construction, ICC certifications, and strong project-management

Qualifications

• Experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and/or plan review.
• Licensed master electrician in Maryland or ability to obtain license within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain ICC certs (B2/M2/P2/E2) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage code compliance projects including plan reviews, inspections, and budget monitoring.
• Provide technical support, prepare proposals, and coordinate project meetings.
• Mentor and train other building inspectors as part of team development.
• Support client interactions and participate in marketing and business development related to code inspections.
