Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Technology, Engineering, Architecture or related field required.
• Minimum two years of experience equivalent to a Senior Code Enforcement Officer.
• Georgia driver's license and required certifications or ability to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff and schedules.
• Organizes and assigns work to meet objectives and ensures resources.
• Responds to citizens' complaints and inspects locations for violations.
• Issues notices, prepares citations, and facilitates court proceedings.
• Conducts property inspections and coordinates with law enforcement.
• Attends community meetings to educate the public about code compliance.
• Maintains records and prepares reports and documentation.
