Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and experience equivalent to an Associate’s degree in industrial arts, business, or related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Knowledge of standard software applications and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspects units for code compliance in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, insulation, and safety.
• Records discrepancies or violations; notifies owners/contractors; issues stop orders as needed.
• Completes required paperwork and maintains accurate records.
• Installs devices and equipment and maintains inventory.
• Investigates complaints and provides information or referrals as appropriate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
