ECS Group of Companies (ECS) seeks an experienced building inspector to perform multi-discipline inspections and lead code compliance projects in a client-focused environment. The role emphasizes deep knowledge of state and local codes, plan reviews, and effective collaboration with project teams.

You may mentor junior inspectors, participate in business development, and support with P&L management. A valid driver’s license and ICC certifications are required, with potential for NC certification

Competenze

3rd party inspections across electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing and fire safety systems.
Ability to manage code compliance projects including plans review, inspections, and site meetings.
Mentor and train other building inspectors as needed.
Engage in marketing and business development activities related to code inspections.

Perform third party inspections across disciplines (electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural, plumbing, fire protection).
Prepare and submit daily time and Inspection/Field Reports per ECS policy.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of state and local building codes and procedures.
Lead code compliance projects: plan review, inspections, meetings, and issue resolution.
Mentor and train other building inspectors.
Assist with P&L management, client development, and marketing related to code inspections.
