ECS Southeast, LLP, a national engineering and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Building Inspector to perform third-party inspections and advance code compliance initiatives in North Carolina. You will review plans, perform field inspections, and coordinate with project teams to ensure compliance with applicable codes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in code compliance inspection, hold at least one ICC certification (B2, M2, P2, or E2), and can obtain Level I certification within 90

Aufgaben

• Perform third party inspections of mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Prepare and submit daily time and inspection/field reports in accordance with ECS Policy
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of state and local building code regulations, policies, and procedures
• Lead code compliance projects including reviewing plans, providing technical support, monitoring project process for performance and budgetary conditions, proposal preparation, and attending project site meetings
• Mentor and train other building inspectors
• Assist with management of P & L, marketing services by maintaining and developing client interactions, and participate in marketing and business development related to code inspections
