Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in building trades, inspection, or public-facing roles.
• Ability to explain code requirements to owners or residents in clear terms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite visual inspections of properties for compliance with codes and ordinances.
• Complete inspection forms and document findings.
• Perform follow-up inspections to verify violations are corrected.
• Explain code violations and the purpose of the Property Conservation Code to owners or residents.
• Conduct field surveys to identify exterior code violations.
• Perform Lead Dust Wipe Tests.
• Participate in Monroe County's proactive Property Management Program inspections.
