Job summary

Built for the Badge is seeking a seasoned inspector to evaluate residential dwellings for home repairs under general supervision. The role involves conducting tests, coordinating with homeowners, and preparing bid documents while overseeing contract construction and change orders.

You will evaluate program eligibility and recommend approval of contractor payments, interpret codes, read plans and blueprints, and use Word, Excel, and Access to document findings.

Qualifications

• Experience evaluating residential dwellings for home repairs.
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Proficient use of Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to interpret codes and explain them to the public/contractors.
