Coury Hospitality’s The National in Oklahoma City is seeking a Cocktail Server to deliver elevated beverage service in a fast-paced bar and lounge. You will welcome guests, take orders, and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and food with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have cocktail serving or bartending experience, strong guest service skills, knowledge of cocktails and beverages, and comfort with POS and cash handling. Join a team dedicated to unmatched moments.

Qualifications

• Previous cocktail serving or bartending experience preferred.
• Previous restaurant, bar, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and other alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to explain beverage offerings and make appropriate recommendations to guests.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system accurately.
• Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to follow Coury Hospitality Cash Handling Policy and all applicable service standards.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Oklahoma State ABLE License.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and leadership.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests with engaging, elevated service in a fast-paced bar and lounge.
• Accurately taking and processing guest food and beverage orders through the POS.
• Serving cocktails, wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food with confidence.
• Using knowledge of cocktails and beverages to answer questions and make recommendations.
• Coordinate with Bartenders, support Curators, and Management for smooth service.
• Maintain clean, guest-ready tables and service areas throughout the shift.
• bussing and resetting tables and keeping areas clean and polished.
• Complete assigned side work and replenish service areas as needed.
• Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions per cash-handling procedures.
• Review checks for accuracy and obtain signatures when required.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a polished presence and welcoming atmosphere.

• Ability to safely carry food, beverages, trays, glassware, and service equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent guest interaction and changing priorities.
