Job summary

Golden Nugget Laughlin is seeking a cocktail server to deliver beverages across the Casino, Pool and Lounge areas with courteous professionalism. You will greet guests, upsell drinks, and maintain a polished appearance while following health and liquor regulations.

Responsibilities include stocking garnishes, serving orders, handling glassware, and completing side work as directed by Food and Beverage management. Tipped position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and health and liquor laws.
• Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to guests.
• Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Order and serve cocktails to guests according to established guidelines.
• Prepare and stock drink garnishes.
• Picks up dirty glassware and ashtrays from assigned station and return them to the Bar.
• Complete assigned side work (folding towels, filling coffee dispenser, cleaning ashtrays, making coffee, etc.).
• Purchase cigarettes/cigars from gift shop for guests as needed.
• Relay all guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedures.
• Complete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.
