Job summary

Golden Nugget Laughlin is seeking a courteous cocktail server to serve guests across the Casino, Pool and Lounge areas. You will greet guests, take cocktail orders, and ensure drinks are prepared and delivered to high standards.

Maintain a polished uniform, adhere to health and liquor laws, and use suggestive selling to enhance guest experiences. This tipped position offers opportunities for advancement and employee discounts, with a strong focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock drink garnishes.
• Serve cocktails to guests according to guidelines.
• Maintain a neat, clean and safe bar area.
• Relay guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Complete turnover/side work and other assigned tasks.

Overview

Serve cocktails to guests in various areas of the Casino, Pool and Lounge in a courteous and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uniform appearance according to established guidelines.
• Adhere to policies and procedures and health and liquor laws.
• Know locations of all Golden Nugget outlets and services available to guests.
• Greet and converse with guests to suggest or receive cocktail order.
• Use suggestive selling techniques.
• Order and serve cocktails to guests according to established guidelines.
• Prepare and stock drink garnishes.
• Picks up dirty glassware and ashtrays from assigned station and return them to the Bar.
• Complete assigned side work (folding towels, filling coffee dispenser, cleaning ashtrays, making coffee, etc.).
• Purchase cigarettes/cigars from gift shop for guests as needed.
• Relay all guest compliments and complaints to the manager on duty.
• Assist with maintaining a neat, clean and safe working environment.
• Turnover/Takeover station according to established procedures.
• Complete special projects as requested by Food and Beverage management.
