JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown is seeking a Cocktail Server to provide friendly, professional service in the dining room, lounge, and banquets. You will greet guests, take drink orders, recommend wine, relay orders to the kitchen, and ensure a high standard of food and beverage quality.

Applicants with prior server experience are preferred. The role requires standing, walking for long periods, and the ability to lift up to trays as needed; evening and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a server preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as trays.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests promptly and professionally.
• Takes drink orders and presents menu, offering suggestions.
• Relays orders to kitchen and beverage services accurately.
• Observes guests to anticipate needs and provide timely service.
• Clears and resets tables after guests depart.
• Completes side work and keeps work/storage areas clean.
• Follows MSDS for safety compliance.
• Assists with setup/cleaning of function rooms when needed.
• Attends department meetings to stay informed of standards.
