Maverick Gaming LLC is seeking friendly servers for our Central City and Black Hawk locations. You will take beverage orders, ring in drinks, follow recipes, and ensure service quality while upholding liquor laws.

Qualifications

• Six months serving experience preferred.
• Prior money handling experience preferred.
• Must be flexible to work at Central City and Black Hawk properties.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars for the shift, ensure clean and stocked work areas.
• Take beverage orders and ring in drinks before preparation.
• Follow standard drink recipes with proper glassware and portions.
• Adhere to liquor laws and do not serve intoxicated guests.
• Balance cash at the end of shift and cash out according to policy.
• Maintain clean bar, counters, and work areas at all times.
• Upsell food and beverages to patrons.
• Prepare requisitions and inventories at end of shift.
• Lock up products when necessary.

$1,000 Sign on BONUS! $500 paid 90 days after date of hire $500 paid 180 days after date of hire

Team member must be in good standing to qualify for Bonus Pay out (no documented performance or attendance notes in their employee file)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous serving experience and knowledge that includes:

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Six months experience as a server preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• TIPS Certification – We will train you!

Salary $16.27+ tips
