Maverick Colorado LLC is seeking a friendly, responsible team member for our Colorado venues. You will take beverage orders, follow recipes, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining a clean bar area. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus, tips, and benefit options.

Eligible for health benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, tuition reimbursement, and flexible schedules. This position requires weekend and evening availability across Central City and Black Hawk properties.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required or preferred.
• Six months serving experience preferred.
• Money handling experience preferred.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations in Central City and Black Hawk.
• Must be flexible to work weekends, evenings and holidays.
• TIPS certification – training provided.

Responsibilities

• Set up bars for shifts, ensure cleanliness and stock.
• Take beverage orders from customers and servers; ring in drinks before prep.
• Follow standard drink recipes and correct glassware/portioning.
• Abide by alcohol service laws and guest interaction policies.
• Do not serve intoxicated patrons; manage cash at shift end.
• Keep bar and work areas clean at all times.
• Upsell food and drinks to patrons.
• Prepare requisitions and inventory at shift end; secure products.

**$1,000 Sign on BONUS! $500 paid 90 days after date of hire $500 paid 180 days after date of hire**

Team member must be in good standing to qualify for Bonus Pay out (no documented performance or attendance notes in their employee file)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the bars are set up for the shift, cleaned and stocked.
• Takes beverage orders from the customers and servers and ensures all drinks are rung in before any are prepared.
• Follows the standard drink recipes, using the proper glassware and portions.
• Adheres to all the laws pertaining to the serving of alcoholic beverages and dealing with guests.
• Intoxicated persons must never be served.
• Balances cash at the end of their shift and follow the standard procedure for cashing out.
• Keeps bar, counters, and work areas clean always.
• Upsells food and beverage to patrons.
• Prepares requisitions and inventories as required at the end of the shift.
• Locks up product when necessary.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have previous serving experience and knowledge that includes:

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Six months experience as a server preferred
• Prior money handling experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to work at both the Central City and Black Hawk properties
• Must be flexible to work any schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• TIPS Certification – We will train you!

Salary $16.27+ tips
