Job description

Summary: Under general supervision, obtains guest beverage orders. Ensures accurate and timely service of all orders by working with bar personnel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Maintain 20-minute rounds of assigned section to obtain beverage orders from guests and provide beverage services.
2. Ensure guests ordering and consuming alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age.
3. Maintain and ensure checklist to completion including but not limited to opening and closing procedures.
4. Accurately enter guests' order information into Infogensis screen in a timely manner.
5. Communicate beverage orders to bar personnel based on order call standards.
6. Deliver beverage orders to customers throughout assigned section.
7. Operate electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions when no bar personnel are present.
8. Participate in liquor pull ensuring compliance with all Mississippi Gaming Commission regulations.
9. Attempt to limit problems related to guest excessive drinking by providing fewer drinks.
10. Assist with keeping the bar stocked with supplies such as coffee, coasters, glassware, ashtrays, etc.
11. Provide amenities to guests such as matches and ashtrays.
12. Maintain assigned section by collecting used glassware, ashtrays, and picking up trash.
13. Required to participate in wearing a special event uniform provided for holidays and other special occasions deemed by management.
14. Abide by the Appearance Standards set forth for the Ladies & Gent program.
15. Carry out and follow through with preparation and other requirements of all event requests, on and off property.
16. Follow through on any reasonable request made by management.
