Job summary

Maintain a clean bar and assist with food service as needed. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of bartending experience, certification to serve alcohol, and CPR/AED within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of bartending experience.
• Certified to serve alcohol.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare cocktails and drinks, including garnishes.
• Serve members and customers promptly, check IDs, process payments, and answer questions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and sanitize surfaces, furniture and equipment.
• Restock liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients; replace beer barrels.
• Reconcile the bar’s cash register at the end of the shift.
