Job summary

Ryan's Smokehouse in Webster, TX is looking for a passionate Cook/Customer Service team member to join our crew. If you love great BBQ and even better people, this is the place for you.

You will prepare and cook menu items, operate grills and smokers, greet customers, take orders, and keep the kitchen and front-of-house areas clean. Must be fluent in English and have Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen, food service, or customer-facing role preferred.
• Knowledge of BBQ cooking techniques and smoked meats a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Fluent English

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and front-of-house areas
• Restock food prep stations and monitor ingredient levels throughout the shift
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback with a positive attitude

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen, food service, or customer-facing role preferred
• Knowledge of BBQ cooking techniques and smoked meats is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
