Job summary

The City of Baltimore is seeking a qualified professional for the Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services to support the Continuum of Care planning and compliance across ESG/HOPWA programs. The role focuses on evaluating, coordinating, and monitoring homeless services initiatives to improve outcomes for residents.

You'll engage with multiple agencies, prepare reporting, and help ensure contracts meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: three years in program evaluation, coordination, planning or supervision.
• Equivalency: equivalent education/experience; master's degree plus 3–5 years in management preferred.
• Knowledge of ESG, CoC, and HSP programs is advantageous.
• Ability to evaluate data, interpret rules, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret departmental policies and procedures.
• Prepare required monitoring reports.
• Serve as point of contact for the Compliance Department.
• Assist with review of work by Program Compliance Officers.
• Process expenditure reports and assist with trainings.
• Lead program monitoring visits and investigations as needed.
