Job summary

ThrivePass in the United States is seeking a COBRA Operations Supervisor to lead a high-performing team, ensuring excellent customer service, compliance, and operational excellence. This role partners with the COBRA Operations Manager and Director of TPA Services to optimize processes and deliver high-quality client outcomes.

You’ll coach and develop staff, monitor KPIs, collaborate across departments, and drive continuous improvement in COBRA administration and benefits operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of COBRA administration or employee benefits operations experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and employee development.
• Experience leading customer support or operations teams.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and proactively building a pipeline of qualified talent.
• Experience using metrics and KPIs to manage team performance and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing COBRA Operations team through regular feedback and career development.
• Partner with People & Culture to recruit, interview, onboard, and build a pipeline of qualified talent.
• Oversee daily COBRA operations, monitor KPIs and customer satisfaction, and drive process improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for complex issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, customer experience, and team effectiveness.
