WEX in Maine seeks a detail-oriented benefits specialist to manage COBRA and Direct Bill tasks, acting as an internal resource and resolving questions using product, file, and system knowledge. You will support employer accounts and collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and timely responses.

The role emphasizes maintaining member and employer plans, processing files, reporting errors, and training peers.

Qualifications

• Must pass a successful background investigation.
• Experience with computer proficiency and administrative software.
• Experience with Section 125, HIPAA and HITECH regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal resource, troubleshoot questions and provide issue resolution.
• Communicate with internal departments and employers through case management to resolve discrepancies.
• Responsible for solving cases and resolving tier 3 escalations.
• Create, update and maintain member plans and balances.
• Create, update and maintain employer plans.
• Process incoming files and report errors accurately.
• Assist with special projects.
