Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ARS division seeks a Fabrication Technician IV (Robot Weld) for the Hodges, SC facility on 3rd shift. The role operates, troubleshoots, and optimizes robotic welding systems with hands-on experience in weld cells and robot programming.

The position offers a pay rate of $22.83/hr plus a $1/hr shift premium and eligibility for a variable incentive program. General guidelines apply based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in robotic welding or automated welding environments.
• No visa sponsorship offered for this position; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/etc. not supported.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Hodges, SC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robotic welding systems (6-axis robots, welding cells).
• Modify robot paths, touch-ups, and offsets to ensure weld quality.
• Perform basic robot programming and troubleshooting.
• Work with maintenance/engineering to resolve automation issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery (oil, clamps).
• Use calipers, gauges to verify engineering standards.
• Comply with EH&S guidelines and sustain 5S+ in the area.
• Follow all safety policies and wear proper PPE.
• Report any safety issues to supervisor or manager.
