Qualifications

• Minimum of twelve CS credit hours or 156 hours of vocational/technical education in applications development.
• One year of development and analysis experience; bachelor’s degree in CS/IS preferred.
• State government systems or unemployment insurance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement COBOL solutions within the BULL/GCOS8 mainframe environment.
• Provide on-call support on a rotating schedule and respond to production issues.
• Troubleshoot and maintain applications and databases to ensure system stability.
• Translate legislative updates into technical logic with senior staff.
• Maintain technical documentation and support cross-platform data transfers.
