Job summary

Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a Grinder in the Hole cut department to prep fiberglass parts by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using established measurements, drill guides and templates.

The role requires reading work orders and diagrams, using hand to pneumatic tools, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace in a typical 10-hour shift with frequent overtime. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED or related experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Move parts into grinding booth and prepare them for processing.
• Grind, trim, drill and cut parts using hand, power and pneumatic tools.
• Follow proper equipment usage and processes as per work orders.
• Read prints/overlays to lay out options and meet production schedules.
• Maintain housekeeping and dust-chamber filter logs.
• Work quickly, safely, and meet tack times; perform other duties as assigned.

Summary: Prep fiberglass part(s) by grinding, trimming, drilling, and cutting using pre-established measurements, drill guides and templates.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Move parts into the grinding booth, pull part from mold.
• Grind, trim, drill and cut parts, using hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools.
• Use proper equipment and processes.
• Layout of options by reading work orders, using prints and/or overlays.
• General housekeeping of tools, area, and department, this includes keeping track of the filter log for the dust chamber
• Work quickly, safely, and efficiently to meet production schedule and tack times.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education And/or Experience
