Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Team Leader, Coordination of Benefits (COB) to lead departmental staff, oversee workloads, and support the execution of operational goals. This role guides issue resolution, promotes member and customer satisfaction, and helps ensure compliance with applicable requirements.

You will provide performance coaching, employee development, and trend analysis while collaborating with frontline staff, leadership, and cross-functional partners to improve processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead departmental staff and oversee workloads to achieve objectives.
• Coach employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Resolve escalations and liaise with leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Identify and address process gaps and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure training of personnel on processes and procedures.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback to team members.
