Job summary

MasTec, Inc. is seeking a Coax Splicer to join our field team. You will splice, troubleshoot, and upgrade coaxial networks at outdoor utility sites, working with RF meters, TDRs, and node optimization to improve service delivery.

You should have 1–3 years of splicing experience, be comfortable on ladders or bucket trucks, and operate with a strong emphasis on safety and quality. A valid driver's license and DOT Med card are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Willing to work various shifts with overtime.

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep, and troubleshoot existing coaxial cable (aerial and underground).
• Optimize new nodes and perform node splits to reduce capacity.
• Use RF meters and time-domain reflectometers (TDR).
• Read CATV telecom design and prints.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
