MasTec Communications Group is hiring a Coax Splicer to join a safety-focused team responsible for splicing, testing, and troubleshooting coaxial systems across outdoor utility sites. You will upgrade existing plant and support new builds while maintaining high quality standards and safety compliance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of splicing experience and are comfortable with ladders or bucket trucks. This role offers overtime opportunities and a chance to advance in a growing telecom

Qualifications

• At least 1–3 years of splicing and sweeping experience.
• Comfortable on a ladder or bucket truck.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
• Track record of completing work with high quality.
• Flexible with shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Splice, sweep and troubleshoot existing aerial and underground coaxial cable.
• Optimize new Nodes and splice in node splits to reduce capacity.
• Utilize RF Meters and TDR to test and verify cables.
• Read CATV telecommunication design and prints.
• Work at outdoor utility construction sites.
