Job summary

Amphenol CIT in the United States is seeking an Electrical Assembler I (Coax) to perform basic cable assembly for aerospace-grade coax cables and wire harnesses. Under supervision, you will follow drawings, use standard hand tools, and ensure quality and productivity while maintaining safety at the work station.

Key qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year related experience preferred.
• Certifications must be completed within 6 months of hire (IPC Wire and Cable Fundamentals, J-STD Soldering, IPC/WHMA-A-620B).

Responsibilities

• Build simple point-to-point coax cables following drawings and instructions.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment (heat gun, crimpers, soldering, solder pot, ruler).
• Identify wires using color codes and complete paperwork for coax assemblies.
• Maintain clean, organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
• Contribute to department goals and company objectives as needed.
