Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. 1-year related experience preferred.
• IPC Wire and Cable Fundamentals
• Crimping Fundamentals
• J-STD Soldering
• IPC/WHMA-A-620B Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harnesses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Build simple coax cables following drawings to a high level of quality and productivity.
• Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools: heat gun, hand crimpers, soldering irons, solder pot, and wire strippers.
• Identifies wires with color code sequence.
• Completes paperwork related to building coax assemblies.
• Keeps workstation clean, organized and safe.
• Follows all safety procedures and guidelines.
