Job summary

Amphenol Cable and Interconnect Technologies Inc. seeks an Electrical Assembler I (Coax) to perform entry-level coax cable and harness assembly under direct supervision.

You will follow drawings, use heat guns, soldering tools, crimpers, and other equipment to build cables to high-quality standards. Responsibilities include paperwork, color-code identification, and maintaining a clean, safe workstation while adhering to ANSI and IPC standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; 1 year related experience preferred.
  • IPC Wire and Cable Fundamentals certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Crimping Fundamentals certification within 6 months of hire.
  • J-STD Soldering certification within 6 months of hire.
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620B certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harnesses certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Build simple point-to-point coax cables following drawings and instructions with high quality and productivity.
  • Demonstrate proper use of basic hand tools and equipment.
  • Identify wires using basic color code sequence.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for coax assemblies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all company safety guidelines.
