Job summary

Arkema’s Coatex Plant in Chester, SC, seeks a QC Lab Technician to perform quality control testing of raw materials and products and to maintain required ISO documentation.

You will operate laboratory instrumentation, generate and file data in SAP, Excel and related systems, and participate in safety and environmental compliance programs. The role involves rotating shifts (24/7), possible overtime, no travel, and PPE use as required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of lab experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Computer literacy with Excel, Word and Access.
• Physical requirements include continual standing and walking in the plant.

Responsibilities

• 15%: Participate in plant initiatives and pursue improvements.
• 30%: Perform laboratory sample analyses and ensure products meet specifications.
• 15%: Maintain QC Lab equipment and consumable inventory.
• 25%: Manage all QC Lab data using SAP, Excel, Lotus, Success Factor and lab software.
• 15%: Maintain a safe, environmentally friendly lab environment.
