Job summary

Axalta Coating Systems Ltd. is seeking a Quality Control Lab Technician to perform complex QC tests, calibrate lab equipment, and support production and R&D teams. You will document results, interpret data, and help maintain safe lab practices while coordinating with plant personnel and customers.

Two positions available, occasional overtime and weekend work may be required. A chemistry degree and 5+ years QC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or equivalent education preferred.
• Five+ years of QC experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass Color Hue Test.
• Able to read and interpret test results within guidelines.
• Able to document technical test results clearly.
• Ability to operate and calibrate QC lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex, specialized QC tests and coordinate lab operations.
• Run comprehensive lab tests and interpret results within guidelines.
• Calibrate, operate, clean and maintain QC lab equipment.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, R&D and other plant personnel.
• Communicate test results and recommendations to customers and commercial teams.
• Maintain logs, forms and reports to ensure compliance.
