Qualifications

• 2 years engineering experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD, Inventor, and CATIA
• Knowledge of robotics, electrical, and mechanical preferred
• Familiarity with PLC programming
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Automotive background preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of vacuum metalizing and robotic spray painting preferred
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical ability
• Demonstrated ability to control multiple projects, budgets and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Coordinating new model development by determining specifications needed for production to meet customer requirements.
• Implementing process improvement projects to increase profitability of production.
• Troubleshooting and developing countermeasures to improve production.
• Participating in capital investment planning for testing and new equipment.
• Assisting in cost-reduction by monitoring material usage and reject rates.
• Providing technical support to production, process, and maintenance groups.
