Job summary

Anomatic Corporation in New Albany, OH, is seeking a production floor operator to ensure efficient operation of the plastic metalizing lines, monitor the metalizing process, and maintain product consistency and quality throughout the shift.

You will set up lines per job cards, operate machines continuously, communicate shift issues, perform color checks, clean and maintain equipment, document production and paint usage, and support the Take Off team as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set up line per job card requirements and operate machines continuously.
• Perform regular quality checks on color, adhesion, and aesthetics.
• Complete required paperwork for parts produced, scrap, and paint consumption.

Responsibilities

• Set up the line per job card requirements and ensure continuous operation of machines.
• Communicate with team about operating conditions and paint mixtures.
• Monitor each metalizing step for quality and perform regular inspections.
• Clean machines and perform preventative maintenance.
• Keep production team informed of issues that could affect production and ensure raw parts are available for Take Off.
• Maintain a clean line and proper storage of equipment.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting under supervision of technicians.
• Complete required paperwork and report pertinent issues during shift.
• Perform other duties to support production.

This production floor position is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the plastic metalizing lines. Monitors all steps in the metalizing process, resulting in overall product consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the shift.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for setting up the line per job card requirements, continuous operation of machines, and mixing and replenishment of paint supply.
• Communicates with team members regarding operating conditions, paint mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift.
• Continuously monitors each step of the metalizing process for quality of parts, and performs regular inspections of color, cross-hatching, adhesion, and aesthetic assessment.
• Cleans machines and performs preventative maintenance.
• Keeps production team informed throughout the shift on pertinent issues with the processes or parts that could affect production and ensures Take Off team is supplied with raw parts.
• Maintains a clean line, free of clutter. Stores equipment properly.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on the line under the direction of the Metalizing Technician and Process Engineering Technician.
• Properly completes required paperwork regarding parts produced, scrap, and paint consumption, and communicates all pertinent issues throughout shift.
• All other duties as assigned to support production.
