The role requires AMPP CIP Level 1 certification, 1+ years in coatings, ability to work around blasting, tanks and spray operations, and meticulous record-keeping; travel to job sites is expected with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• AMPP CIP Level 1 certification required.
• 1+ years in industrial coatings application or inspection.
• Comfortable around tanks, blasting and spray operations.
• Meticulous with instruments and records.
• Honest about gauge readings.

Responsibilities

• Measure ambient conditions before and during application.
• Verify surface preparation to SSPC/NACE standard.
• Measure wet and dry film thickness; check holidays and defects.
• Verify coating materials, batch numbers, mixing and pot life.
• Keep daily coating inspection log and photograph each stage.
