Guardian Glass is seeking a Department Manager for Coating/Thin Films Operations in Corsicana, TX. You will lead a cross-functional team to deliver safe, reliable coating operations around the clock in a demanding manufacturing environment.

The role focuses on safety, quality, process controls, and continuous improvement. You will mentor front-line leaders, manage performance, and collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to maximize uptime and asset value.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or STEM field.
• Experience aligning teams to safety, quality and productivity.
• Engineering experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience using statistical methods to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team of supervisors, engineers, technicians, and manufacturing personnel to run 24/7 coating operations.
• Champion a proactive safety culture and ensure compliant operating practices.
• Maintain process controls to meet specifications and drive quality resolution.
• Own performance metrics and drive improvements in throughput and efficiency.
• Partner with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment reliability.
• Develop and coach front-line leaders and succession plans.
