Job summary

Raytheon Tucson is seeking a coating technician to perform surface preparation, coating, finishing, and inspection of fabricated parts, assemblies, composite structures, airframes and test equipment, using paints, epoxies, urethanes, powder coat, and related processes. The role requires at least 1 year of coatings experience, ability to work any shift (including overnight), and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.

secret clearance. PPE and safety/environmental standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of coatings experience on fabricated parts or assemblies.
• Experience preparing, measuring, and adjusting paints to desired thickness.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, coating, finishing, and inspection of fabricated parts, assemblies, and test equipment.
• Operate coating equipment and spray systems; ensure compliance with specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and maintain documentation and records.
• Follow safety, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production staff as needed.
