Job summary

RTX is seeking a Raytheon Production Test Engineer (PTE) to join our Tucson manufacturing team. This onsite role supports test process across product life cycle, validates test equipment, troubleshoots failures, and drives efficiency and capacity improvements.

A Bachelor’s in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related STEM, plus the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, are required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory for clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM by start date.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Experience interpreting technical documentation.
• Experience with project execution.

Responsibilities

• Validate new or modified test equipment for production use.
• Ensure operation of test equipment and instructions are accurate.
• Ensure test equipment and software meet the test requirements specified for the product.
• Monitor and improve the test process through analysis of predictive metrics of trends, failure modes, and test yields.
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations and present findings.
• Provide technical training in both product and test equipment to production test specialists and metrology personnel.
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
