Job summary

Avery Dennison Corporation in Ohio is seeking a Coating Operator to run coating lines across multiple stations, lead set ups, and coordinate PMs on a 7a-7p 2-2-3 schedule. You will monitor process parameters, load raw materials, and ensure quality while meeting production targets.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 3+ years manufacturing experience), strong safety awareness, and solid communication skills. PPE must be worn and overtime is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work safely with PPE and follow safety policies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing documents.
• Willingness to work overtime including weekends.
• Proficiency with ERP system transactional skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead machine set ups and changeovers on coating lines.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and adjust machines as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Load raw materials and unload finished products.
• Control machine cycle, adjust as necessary for productivity.
• Perform tests and inspect product characteristics with standard devices.
• Meet production schedules and sequence production for efficiency.
• Record production data and monitor equipment performance.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet site goals and perform other duties.
