Job summary

Huali Floors-USA is seeking a Material Handler for the Coating Department to support operations with a scan gun, pallet handling, and bin management. The role operates on a 12-hour night rotation from 7 PM to 7 AM and requires attention to safety and accuracy on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Move products in the system using a scan gun.
• Weigh scraps in bins and replace bins as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations.

Description

The Material Handler performs various essential duties to support the Coating Department's operations. These duties include using a scan gun to make system moves and replacing scrap bins as necessary.

This is a 12-hour rotation night shift, 7 PM - 7 AM.

What you will do as a Material Handler in the Coating Department:

• Place pallets onto gantries.
• Monitor the gantry area.
• Remove finished pallets using a pallet jack or lift truck.
• Work closely with Operators.
• Keep designated lines stocked with all material needs.
• Move products in the system using a scan gun.
• Weigh scraps in bins and replace bins as needed.
• Manually load or unload materials.
• Verify spec sheet is correct.
• Lift 25-pound slabs as needed.
• Maneuver pallets that can weigh up to 80 pounds.
• Replace the gas tank on the lift truck as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in Basic English
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must be able to pass the eye exam
• Must have at least 1 year of previous lift truck experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to mount & dismount the lift truck repeatedly.
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions
• Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment
• Complete Huali's lift truck certification.
