Job summary

Huali Floors USA in Chatsworth, GA is seeking a Material Handler for our Coating Department. The role supports coating operations by moving materials with a scan gun and lift equipment, keeping lines stocked, and ensuring safe, accurate system moves.

This is a 12-hour night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate has lift truck experience, basic English, and the ability to work in a dusty, noisy manufacturing environment; training and certification provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Must pass eye exam.
• At least 1 year of lift truck experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to mount & dismount the lift truck repeatedly.
• Must be able to perform basic computer functions.
• Willing and able to work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment.
• Complete Huali’s lift truck certification.

Responsibilities

• Place pallets onto gantries.
• Monitor the gantry area.
• Remove finished pallets using a pallet jack or lift truck.
• Work closely with Operators.
• Keep designated lines stocked with all material needs.
• Move products in the system using a scan gun.
• Weigh scraps in bins and replace bins as needed.
• Manually load or unload materials.
• Verify spec sheet is correct.
• Lift 25-pound slabs as needed.
• Maneuver pallets up to 80 pounds.
• Replace the gas tank on the lift truck as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Description

The Material Handler performs various essential duties to support the Coating Department's operations. These duties include using a scan gun to make system moves and replacing scrap bins as necessary.

This is a 12-hour rotation night shift, 7 PM – 7 AM.

What you will do as a Material Handler in the Coating Department:

• Place pallets onto gantries.
• Monitor the gantry area.
• Remove finished pallets using a pallet jack or lift truck.
