Job summary

Flexcon Company, Inc. in Columbus, NE is seeking a Machine Operator VI for a Friday–Sunday shift from 5:55 AM to 6:00 PM.

You will operate the coating machine, apply adhesives to substrates, and follow work orders to ensure quality and minimize downtime. As part of a career lattice, you will be cross-trained across production tasks, learn standardized work, and contribute to process improvements using lean concepts.

Qualifications

• HS or GED is required.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn ERP system.
• Ability to wear a respirator for coatings positions.

Responsibilities

• Operate as coater operator on the coating machine.
• Apply adhesives to substrate according to work order instructions.
• Follow specifications to ensure quality coating and minimize downtime and waste.
• Clean equipment as needed.
• Maintain production records and complete daily paperwork.
• Support production operations with various tasks.
